Kacci Lab Inc. ("Kacci Lab", "we", "us", or "our") operates the HoiiiBlock mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use HoiiiBlock.

HoiiiBlock is designed as a local-first app blocker and quick exercise coach. The app can be used without creating an account. Core app-blocking data stays on your device. If you choose to create or sign in to an account, limited progress data may be backed up or synced to the cloud so your streaks and exercise history can be restored if you reinstall the app or change devices.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Local App Data

HoiiiBlock stores certain information locally on your device so the app can function. This may include:

• Apps you choose to block or manage through HoiiiBlock
• Exercise preferences, rep targets, pace settings, and unlock window settings
• Completion history, daily exercise totals, streaks, achievements, and progress statistics
• Emergency pass usage and focus or strict schedule settings, if enabled
• App settings, onboarding status, and device-level preferences

Your blocked-app list is stored locally on your device. We designed HoiiiBlock this way because the apps a person chooses to block may reveal sensitive information about their habits, interests, or device use.

1.2 Blocked-App Lists Are Not Synced

HoiiiBlock does not sync your blocked-app list to our cloud backup service. This means the list of apps you choose to block stays on your device and is not included in cloud backup, even if you choose to sign in for optional progress backup.

If you reinstall the app or change devices, you may need to choose your blocked apps again. This is intentional and helps protect your privacy.

1.3 Optional Account Information

You may choose to create or sign in to an account to back up and sync certain progress data. If you do, we may collect:

• Email address
• Authentication identifier or user ID, such as a Firebase user ID
• Sign-in provider information, such as Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, if you choose to use those options
• Account creation date and basic account status

Account creation is optional. You can use the core features of HoiiiBlock without signing in.

1.4 Optional Cloud Backup and Sync Data

If you sign in and choose to use cloud backup or sync, we store limited progress data to support backup, restore, and cross-device continuity. This may include:

• Current streak and best streak
• Last active date used to maintain your streak
• Daily exercise totals by date
• Exercise IDs and completion counts, such as deep: 15, wrist: 40, or neck: 8
• Update timestamps showing when a progress record was last changed

This cloud backup data is used for app functionality, such as restoring your streaks and exercise totals. It is not used for advertising tracking and is not sold to third parties.

1.5 Device Permissions and Technical Information

Depending on your device and operating system, HoiiiBlock may request permissions required to provide app-blocking functionality. These may include:

• Usage access or screen time permissions to identify when a selected app is opened
• Overlay or display-over-other-apps permission on Android to show the HoiiiBlock exercise screen
• Notification permission, if used to provide reminders, unlock status, or service messages
• Device and operating system information needed for app functionality, support, security, and troubleshooting

HoiiiBlock does not require camera access, microphone access, precise location access, HealthKit access, Google Fit access, Health Connect access, or contact access for its core app-blocking and exercise-coach functionality.

1.6 Exercise Activity Information

HoiiiBlock may record exercise-related activity that you complete inside the app, such as exercise type, completion counts, completion dates, daily totals, and streaks. This information is used to show your progress and unlock blocked apps according to your settings.

HoiiiBlock is not a medical device, health diagnosis tool, fitness treatment service, or professional healthcare service. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

1.7 Analytics, Crash Reports, and Diagnostics

HoiiiBlock may collect limited technical diagnostics, crash reports, or performance information to help us maintain and improve the app. This may include:

• Crash logs
• Performance events
• App version and device type
• Operating system version
• Technical information related to errors, bugs, reliability, and app performance

We use this information for app performance monitoring, bug fixes, troubleshooting, safety, and product improvement. We do not use crash or diagnostic data for advertising tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain HoiiiBlock
• Enable app-blocking, exercise completion, unlock windows, streaks, and achievements
• Save your local settings and preferences
• Provide optional account, backup, and sync functionality
• Restore supported progress data when you reinstall the app or change devices, if you use cloud sync
• Improve app reliability, performance, usability, and safety
• Respond to support requests
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, abuse, fraud, or security risks
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

HoiiiBlock is designed to store core app data locally on your device. This includes your blocked-app list. If you delete the app without using optional cloud backup, your local app data may be deleted and may not be recoverable.

3.2 Cloud Storage

If you choose to sign in and use cloud backup or sync, limited supported progress data may be stored using third-party cloud infrastructure such as Google Firebase or similar service providers. Cloud sync is intended to help preserve your streaks and daily exercise totals.

Your blocked-app list is not stored in our cloud backup service.

3.3 Security Measures

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including:

• Encryption in transit where supported
• Authentication controls for account-based features
• Owner-only access rules for user cloud data where applicable
• Access controls and monitoring for backend services
• Reasonable measures to reduce unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app advertising tracking. We may share limited information in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers

We may use trusted third-party service providers to help operate HoiiiBlock, including services for authentication, cloud storage, crash reporting, diagnostics, app distribution, or customer support. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us.

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, court order, subpoena, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to:

• Protect our rights, property, or safety
• Protect users or the public
• Investigate fraud, abuse, security issues, or technical problems
• Enforce our Terms and Conditions

4.3 Business Transfers

If Kacci Lab is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Third-Party Services

HoiiiBlock may use third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Crashlytics, or related Firebase services
• Google Sign-In, if you choose to use it
• Sign in with Apple, if you choose to use it
• Apple App Store and Google Play services for app distribution and future optional donation or tip features

These third-party services have their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review them.

6. Ads, In-App Purchases, and Future Donations

HoiiiBlock is free at launch and does not display ads. HoiiiBlock does not currently include paid subscriptions or required in-app purchases.

In the future, we may add an optional donation, tip jar, or "support us" feature. If implemented, such payments will be voluntary and will be processed through Apple App Store or Google Play billing where required by platform rules.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

• Local app data: Stored on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall the app.
• Blocked-app list: Stored locally on your device and not synced to our cloud backup service.
• Account data: Retained while your account remains active, unless you request deletion.
• Cloud backup and sync data: Retained while you use cloud sync, unless you delete your account or request deletion of cloud data.
• Crash reports and diagnostics: Retained for a limited period needed to troubleshoot, fix bugs, and improve app performance.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Delete your account and associated cloud data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Request export or portability of certain information
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities

You can also control many app permissions directly through your device settings. Disabling certain permissions may limit or prevent HoiiiBlock from blocking selected apps or showing unlock screens.

Because your blocked-app list is stored locally and not synced to our cloud backup service, deleting or resetting the app on your device may remove that local data. For cloud account and progress data deletion, contact us at: contact.us@kaccilab.com.

9. Children’s Privacy

HoiiiBlock is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

If you use optional cloud features, your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Cookies and Website Tracking

This Privacy Policy applies to the HoiiiBlock app and related services. If you visit Kacci Lab websites, those websites may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics, security, or consent management. You can manage cookies through your browser settings or the website’s cookie tools where available.

12. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California privacy laws, including the right to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing or sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

13. European, UK, and Other International Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, you may have additional rights, including rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in the app, on our website, or by email if you have provided one.

Your continued use of HoiiiBlock after changes become effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
